TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up
Tab Trade - The Short VersionTabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker. The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background. They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow. What You Trade OnYou get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives. What You PayThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker has no minimum.VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.Execution SpeedThis is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform run a much wider range.Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.SafetyNow, the thing that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision. The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.Deposit BonusTab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit. The complete breakdown, including all the details before you open an account, is at tabtrade review tradetheday.com.
