The Broker — The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
What You Trade On
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you deposit.
